What is Psychometry?
Psychometry is an important part of psychological services. It is a field of psychology that includes the use of assessment tools and measurement instruments as part of a psychological assessment process. Psychologists are trained and experienced with these services, however, it is not necessary for psychologists to complete this data collection. Psychometrists provide useful services that supplement the work of psychologists. They allow for shorter wait times by freeing up psychologists to focus on treatment and diagnostic aspects of an assessment.
